The HDMI is an all digital audio and video interface which delivers clear audio and video through a single cable. The AVR 1610 has a sound calibration microscope which helps you to set up the correct sound and tone balance according to your room surroundings and the type of speakers you use. With the av-sync {feature you can synchronize the timing of the audio and the video to prevent the audio from preceding the video.~The av sync allows for the synchronization of audio and video in order to make sure that sound and picture appears correctly}
The component video switxhing option on the AVR 1610 allows for analog video signal inputs to hdmi output which basically means 4801 to 480p The audio/video input connections are provided at the front panel for easy connection of game systems and camcorders.
