Is it just me or is movie theatre popcorn way better than homemade popcorn? I don’t know what the secret is but that Orville-Reddenbacher popcorn from the grocery store just doesn’t taste like that addicting movie theatre popcorn.

oh i’m a much bigger fan of home made that movie popcorn.
there is way toooo much salt in movie popcorn.
besides at home you can flavor it how ever you want. sweet butter. sour cream and onion, cheese….

I worked at a theater and it is the same popcorn, only the butter and seasonings that they put in are different than homemade. I suppose if you bought the same seasonings it would taste the same. Good Luck!

The process used in theatres allows the individual kernal, once popped to fall away from the heat. Not even the hot air poppers do this.

Homemade popcorn is a lot healthier. I like homemade popcorn better than movie theater popcorn. I’ll never buy popcorn from a movie theater again!
