  1. Same thing that people did with all their vinyl records, 8-track tapes, and audio cassettes when CD’s came out. Throw it away. It has no more value.

After driving your car for 5 years, do you go back to the dealer and demand a refund because it’s no good anymore?

  2. Or you can just keep it. I mean seriously did all of a sudden your HDDVD player or your HDDVD stop working? Obviously not, it works just fine, as a matter of fact it works great, i guessing you’re still getting great pictures and love watching those movies. The point I’m trying to make is that why should you go ahead and attempt to sell you HDDVD player and movies when you know there’s no chance in hell that someone is going to buy it at anywhere near the purchase price that you paid for. Honestly you might as well save up some money and buy either a very good stand alone Blu-ray player, or PS3 which would definitely recommend, and then start buying blu-ray movies after that. In the mean time I would personally take the opportunity of these fire sales they’re having for the HDDVD movies and build up my high definition library then eventually move on over to Blu-ray. Like i said from the very beginning, it’s not like your HDDVD player doesn’t work now or is going to stop working because there isn’t any made anymore.

Oh by the way i do own both a Toshiba HDDVD player and a PS3.
