How much money do you want to spend?

This depends on a lot of things, but all things equal I recommend you go with a receiver-based system rather than a player-based system. (This is assuming you don’t wish to piece it together yourself.) In my opinion Onkyo makes the best bundled home theater systems. Their connectivity and flexibility matches or beats just about anything out there in terms of value. They have a wide spectrum of products and a wide variety of prices, from little 5.1 bare-bones models right up to 7.1 THX-certified systems.

everything would vary depending on how much you want to spend… how big your room is … how your room is set up will determine on what speakers to go in the room.. everything is goin to rely off another component… but the best way is to build a system yourself…
PS>>dont go with onkyo, pioneer, sony, panasonic, samsung or any other garbage like that…. go with some good stuff like b&k, denon, yamaha only high end tho, harmon kardon… and as far as speakers viennas, martin logans
