Cookie ♥ asked:

I love watching movies at home, cos you can pause if you need the bathroom, and if you want to get more snacks, you can fast forward any boring bits, or rewind any good bits, and I think its alot more comfy than those damn cinema chairs… but nothing beats the cinema experience! So I’m undecided! What do you think?

  14. cinema gives an awesome experience, you do have to pay for it though. It really depends, like are you watching a movie alone (then prefer home) maybe w/ a friend (cinema), a bf/gf? well that depends. :P Hope this helps(?)~

  18. I think it really depends on the movie but yeah I really would rather stay home besides that’s what a big screen tv and surround sound is for

    Comment by Brayzen — July 4, 2007 @ 12:38 pm

  19. i think it all depends on the mood im in, and how bad i want to see the movie lol.
like if i really really want to see a movie ill go to the theater and watch it but if not, ill wait and watch it at home.

  20. home, for sure.

theatres are overpriced, not worth it, and nowadays if you really wanna see a movie that’s in theaters you can watch it online.

so, home sweet home for me.

  24. home, you can curl up in a blanket and get snacks and not miss any of the movie because it’s on pause. but it is a cool experience in the theaters. you are soo right. the theater is really loud though.
    i like both.

  25. If I cant wait to see it at home then movies! but home because its good for those reasons plus you can cuddle on the couch with your man and not worry about other people at the movie theater

  26. Both have their advantages. It’s nice to go out.

    Comment by ja77 — July 13, 2007 @ 12:59 pm

  27. Theatre. You get more impact because of the huge screen and the loud sound effects. The downside is that its started to cost more and more! 9.75 for a movie? Please…

    Comment by IcePixie — July 16, 2007 @ 10:40 am

  28. Theatre. Nothing beats a good scare when someone tosses their popcorn in the air screaming! What a riot! Can’t beat the theatre, if you enjoy watching other ppl jump or scream.

  29. i like the theatre cuz its fun to watch on the big screen and have the food court ish thing and getting out of the house but if its a sad movie ill start crying or tearing up or something.. so its not the best idea.. and it is nice to watch them at home cuz well if your just crying with your friends its ok plus you can watch it lots of times but in all i prefer the theatre

    Comment by Katrina — July 19, 2007 @ 12:52 pm

  30. I totally agree with you.. I love to close the blinds and make some popcorn.. and put on the Surround sound… and pop in a cool Dvd
but once in a while the Movie Theaters is ok…

    Comment by Anthony Q — July 21, 2007 @ 4:22 am

  31. i like both. if its a really good movie nothing beats seeing it in the theater. i still really like watching movies at home to mostly for the reasons u listed. also, movies r cheaper to rent than see in theater, and if u buy them u can watch them over and over

    Comment by Phantom — July 24, 2007 @ 10:11 am

  32. Both for different reasons! I’m undecided just like you!

    Comment by ciao bella xx — July 27, 2007 @ 11:33 am

  33. If the movie is worth watching on the big screen (war films, something with great scenery, Harry Potter…), I see it at the theaters. If it’s like a cartoon or something that wouldn’t make a difference if it was on a larger screen, then I wait until it comes out on DVD.

I totally understand about watching films at home. The bathroom is close by and you never miss anything.

    Comment by Jenny — July 30, 2007 @ 5:13 am

  34. I prefer movies at home. It’s because in theatre, people is all shouting and doing things and staffs and its really uneasy and uncomfortable in theatre. And in theatre we need to sit in a small chair but at home we can relax ourselves in a sofa. And also we can pause the movie for a break at home but at the theatre we can’t. In total watching movies at home is much better than watching movie in theatre.
