Using the remote that came with the RT2390, here are the steps.
1. Select DVD button.
2. Press the button labeled “Audio”. “Sleep 0″ will appear on RT2390 readout.
3. Quickly (before the sleep 0 goes off the screen) press the “Right arrow button” on the remote to step through the options until “Analog” is displayed. (4 or 5 presses)
4. Press the “Up arrow button” on the remote until the display reads “Optical”.
5. Press the “O.K.” button on the remote.
Done.
