home theatre
nick c asked:

okay, im probably getting a home theatre system for my room and i was wondering if anybody had expirience in this
i know how to wire and stuff but heres my question
okay i estimate my room to be about 8 by 11
the door is next to the closet so its like the closet cuts off at the entrance so there is like a little boxed in area where the door is
now if i had the 5 speakers where would i put the one where the door is cus it seems like it would cut out the sound from that area, please help
oh and would it be a good idea to put the woofer under the bed?

  1. if the door is in the corner then unless you have a sofa up against that wall, i’d recommend putting the speaker just a fraction out of the way of the door. also the woofer is too low aa frequency for the brain to pinpoint its origin so it’s fine where ever you put it as long as it’s not directly facing the wall.
