I just bought and connected a Samsung HT-TX72 to my 42″ Panasonic Plasma HDTV via HDMI and when I am watching a brand new movie the video skips throughout the entire movie but the audio doesn’t. I switched the DVD/receiver to 1080. When I switch it back to 480 it doesn’t skip. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem???

You did not give the model or vintage of your TV set. I suspect you cannot use 1080, and are limited to 720P by your TV. Checkthe owners book or “G****E” the model # to find the info.
