i planned to buy a home theatre receiver for my home theatre. Can u suggest some good receivers with good sound quality? my budget is aroung $500-700. a little more ccostly or low is also ok. thank you.

  1. I love Yamaha receivers, but I would own Denon because of their great reputation.

    But Onkyo is winning “Best Receiver of the Year” awards with their TXSR-505, 605, 705 receivers. They start about $499 and pack flagship-type features like HDMI up-conversion, switching, etc.

    You can find it online for about $850.00.
    It decodes ALL surround formats being either lpcm or bitstream.
    It converts all video to 1080p hdmi to hdtv.
    It is all powerful.
    and Its a beautiful machine.
    It is future proof
