I bought a 5 grand home theatre system, and I put the volume to max. Wow, it wasnt impressive at all….

It says 2500 watts! Is that suposed to be alot? Also, what is FUSE? I have a button behind the main system that says Fuse, will this boost the sound?

  1. This come up time and time again. Just because you spent 5 grand, it does not necessarily mean that you will have the loudest, badder system available. The wattage will suggest that it will be loud, but it could also be that your system puts more emphasis on clarity. Sort of like at the movies, that even though it’s loud, you can still whisper to the person next to you and be heard. Try posting more details as to what type of system you bough in order to answer your question about FUSE.

This might just be the location where they put the Fuse that protects your system in case of current overload thus blowing the fuse instead of your expensive system.

I looked at your link, and yes, you have a very impressive system. Like I said before, just because it’s not as loud as you think it should be, it does not mean that it is not good. Read you manual over and see if there is some kind of volume booster you can activate, The button in back labeled “fuse” is just a fuse that will protect your system from current spikes. If, for example, you get no more sound from your system, you would then push this button to reset the circuitry and continue your listening experience.

    Congratulations on a great system.

    Have fun
