i would never buy bose they are way over priced and not that great of quality. i have found however that for the money that JVC makes some killer systems at pretty affordable prices some other good brands are yamaha/sansui/teac/macintosh/mitsubishi and believe it or not 3M makes a surround system that is extremely inexpensive and has excellent quality for the money and comes with it’s own speakers which are very small but have very big output.
