I just bought an open box Samsung HT-Q40 DVD home theatre system…since it was open box, the remote was missing, and I’m using a universal remote. I finally put up all the speakers, and the two back ones arent working, and I think its because of the setting. It might be on Stereo…and I need it to be on SRS…how do I do that without the original remote?!

You need to get into the setup menu of the dvd player somehow. If theres no button for menu (or setup) on the front of the machine or on the remote your kinda screwed, You could try buying a different universal remote. (make sure it has both “setup” and “menu” buttons)
Once you get into the setup menu go to the audio section.
