RCA DVD home theater? That doesn’t sound right! ~
Hooking up a home theater is no big deal, but you have to know what equipment you have.

k, i had the same problem, try this…
take the Audio (Left and right) wires (u know the red and white one) from ur cable box to ur home theatre. Make sure that u put the cables in the right port (u know the circle thingy)
Thats what i did. but there are other ways
just take an HDMI wire and hook it up from ur hOme theatre to ur TV.
or use digital audio device from ur cable box to ur home theatre.
