cherry-o asked:
Looking for opinions on the best home theatre surround sound speakers to purchase. 5-in-1 (5.1), wireless preferrably if affordable. $300.00 is about my limit. Thank you.
I just read wireless speakers aren’t so hot for sound. Anyone know of some good floor or free standing speakers I could add to the surround speakers for general CD playing?
Thank you. But if an entire sysem, with receiver, is only 250.00, the speakers probably aren’t that great, and the speakers, for a good system, should cost about 50 percent or more of the entire home theatre purchase.

In that price range you probably won’t get wireless(my sony wireless speaker set up cost me 2k).Go to Best buy, there are a lot of good systems for that price. I prefer Yahmaha.

Check out this ONKYO “all-in-one” system down at the Circuit City…It’s speakers are ONLY about the size of a TOASTER, but it’s HUGE and POWERFUL sub-woofer makes up for that…You won’t need any “FLOOR-STANDING” speakers with THIS set-up…Click this link right here to see it (it’s only $300):

Panasonic has a very good one for 299.00. I bought one and it sounds real nice.
