You need to splice together a wiring harness - which is easy to do!
1) grab an old set of headphones. Cut off the ear buds & strip 1/2 inch of the plastic coating on each wire. One of the wires will have writing on it, use that as your negative wire.
2) plug it into the headphone jack on your laptop, connect the 2 wires to the first speaker. It should work.
3) To connect the 2nd speaker, get another length of speaker wire, strip the plastic of of both ends
4) connect one end into your first speaker & the other end onto the 2nd speaker making sure the wire connects the positive (red) clip of the 1st to the red clip of the 2nd & then connect black to black.
Done!
Your speakers will work fine, but you can get them louder by connecting them via an amp…
