  1. headphone jack to RCA cable.

aka 3.5mm plug to rca cable.

apple accesory section have this all the electonic store have this.

remember, the sound quality form laptop is not that good. because the sound card in it is not the high quality.

  2. 100% yes , in fact i recommend it , what i use is a mono to stereo adapter that plugs into the sound card , and run that to the inputs of my amp , works great , i also do this with my ipod , doing this has taken the place of the tap deck and CD player in my rack stereo system

  3. Get a cable that has a standard headphone stereo jack on one end and RCA cables on the other. Hook the RCA cables to the Home Theatre and the stereo jack to the headphone port of your computer. It looks like the one in the link below.

    Easy Peasy!!

    Good Luck!!

  4. Yes, you can do this a number of ways. Several are explained above. Everything electronic I have is connected to my system, including my PS2.
What I did was get an adapter box with inputs/outputs that I got from target. It will take anything including IPod, computer with a video output card for a large screen TV from RCA, and a cassette deck.
I just plug everything into the box and I get pretty good quality from all my equipment. The box only cost me $18, and it was made to adapt game systems together such as PS, PS2 and my old Dreamscape system. It has six input/output slots and very good instructions on installation.
